Born in Taiwan, Ms. Wu started learning the piano at age 4. At age 9, Ms. Wu passed the piano certificate level 10 and also was the prizewinner in the Kaohsiung City Youth Piano Competition.

Ms. Wu finished her undergraduate and master's degree (with honors) in Boston. She was also the prizewinner of the Piano Concerto Competition from the Music Teachers National Association in the US. Ms. Wu has performed in the New England area, other states in the United States and other countries as a solo pianist, accompanist and chamber musician.

She is now dedicating herself to teaching piano in the New England area.

Policies

Yuan Gao, at the age of 13, began studying the clarinet at the Central University of Nationalities College of Music in Beijing, China. Barely 3 years later, he won the First Prize at the National Clarinet Competition. The following year, he also won the top prize at Jeunesses Musicales International Music Competition in Romania. The performance was broadcast by CCTV (China Central Television) in China and the government honored him by including his name in the list of prominent Chinese musicians.

Mr.Gao studied in Vienna, Belgium, Paris and Boston with, respectively, Peter Schmidl, Eddy

Vanoosthuyse, Michel Lethiec and Jonathan Cohler. In 2006, Gao’s Trio, Diamante, won

the First Prize at the International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition and was invited to perform at the Carnegie Hall.

In 2007, Mr. Gao garnered the Harold Wright Clarinet Merit Award sponsored by the Boston

Woodwind Society.

Mr. Gao has given recitals and conducted master classes in the US, China, Japan, Brazil and many international clarinet festivals. Mr. Gao represents Rossi Clarinet in China and is the owner/designer of GAO’s Royal Musical Collection.

文化部举办的 “第二届全国青少年单簧管演奏比赛 ”

专业少年组一等奖和中国作品优秀演奏奖，以及由

文化部选派代表中国参加2002年在罗马尼亚首都布

加勒斯特举行的“第九届国际青年单簧管演奏比赛”

C组桂冠，成为获得此项荣誉的第一个亚洲人。

這也是我国历届参加这项比赛的最高荣誉。此後，

河北电视台《真情旋律》栏目，中央电视台三套

“音乐再现 ” 栏目和60多家媒体对其做了专题报道。
